MONTCLAIR, NJ — The YMCA of Montclair proudly announces the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. These individuals bring diverse expertise and a deep commitment to advancing the Y’s mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. 

“We are pleased to welcome these accomplished community leaders to the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Montclair,” said Lisa Indovino, Board Vice-Chair. “Each new board member brings valuable experience, thoughtful perspective, and a shared commitment to our mission. Their leadership will play an important role as we continue strengthening programs and services for our community.” 

The newly appointed Board members are: 

Rick Gyan is a Vice President of Customer Success at Salesforce with over 30 years’ experience in driving transformative business value for customers. As a seasoned SaaS executive, his focus is on the critical intersection of customer success and technologies that include Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Commerce. Rick also spent over 20 years in Technology Consulting working with Fortune 500 brands around the world. Rick’s experience includes volunteering in multiple school projects such as Project Graduation and Buzz Aldrin Parent Career Advisors. Rick also served on the parent board for the YMCA Dolphins Swim Team and led Salesforce’s volunteering and fundraising efforts for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society for many years. Rick has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Lehigh University. He lives in Montclair with his family and enjoys travel and gardening.   

Derrick Steele is a senior partner at EY’s Financial Services Organization with over 25 years of experience in providing advisory and assurance services to the firm’s largest Financial Services clients. Derrick currently serves as the Senior Global Service Partner for some of the firm’s largest banking, wealth, and asset management clients. Derrick has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlote and is a certified public accountant in New York and North Carolina. Derrick lives in Montclair, NJ, with his family. He enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and weekends at the pool. 

Stephanie Tenaglia is a retired executive with extensive experience in financial technology and agile software delivery. Throughout her career, she served as a Global Organizational Manager, Agile Software Delivery Coach, Certified Scrum Master and Extreme Programming (XP) Technical Lead. Most notably, Stephanie led J.P. Morgan’s Global Wealth Management Brokerage Technology Team, where she drove innovation and operational excellence across a complex, global platform. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University at Albany. A resident of Montclair, Stephanie enjoys playing tennis and traveling the world with her family.
