Renew Active™

The YMCA of Montclair is proud to participate in Renew Active™, the gold standard in Medicare fitness programs for body and mind. Participating plans include United HealthCare, AARP, Medicare, and Medicaid.

These fitness programs are designed to help Medicare members stay active, connected, and engaged—supporting both physical and cognitive health. Eligible participants receive a free YMCA membership through select Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans.

Renew Active™ is offered through UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans; One Pass™ is offered through a variety of Medicare Advantage providers.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Membership (eligibility restrictions apply)

Present your Horizon membership card and you will receive a 15% discount on a monthly membership. Not a member yet? The YMCA will also waive the joiner fee. And as a nationwide member, you now have the added value of visiting YMCAs across the United States and Puerto Rico. Cannot be combined with any other YMCA discounts.

Community Partners Membership

We offer customized 15% discounted membership packages for active duty and veteran service members, firefighters, police officers, teachers, healthcare professionals, and municipal workers. Must work or live in our service area. To discuss options, please contact the Welcome Center at our Park Street Branch.

Parkinson’s Membership

Generously supported by the Parkinson’s Foundation, a limited number of free YMCA of Montclair memberships are available to those living with Parkinson’s Disease. The YMCA of Montclair offers an exercise program for individuals with Parkinson’s. This group exercise instruction is led by a Certified Personal Trainer according to recommendations from the Parkinson’s Foundation and the American College of Sports Medicine.

MONTCLAIR Summer/Winter Memberships

We offer summer memberships for current students ages 18 to 25. Enjoy full access to the Y for $99 for the whole summer (May through August). Valid College I.D. at time of sign up.
