The G.A.P. program is for students wanting or needing to increase the specific skills of reading, writing and math. The program goals are to reverse summer learning loss, achieve learning gains, and give students the chance to master some material that they did not learn during the previous school year. The program is only offered for a half day leaving plenty of time to enjoy the summer afternoons. Led by Elementary Education certified teachers, students need only bring a morning snack-we will provide the rest. If you need your camper to be entertained in the afternoon, our Summer Sparks Camp, held at the same location, offers enrichment workshops from 1:15-5:15.
Campers must bring a lunch and snack if registering for a Summer Sparks afternoon workshop.
3 sessions/2 weeks each
1st Session: June 26-July 7; no camp July 4
2nd Session: July 10-July 21
3rd Session: July 24-August 4
8:30am-12:30pm (1/2 day)
8:00am–8:30am, additional fee of $10 per week ($8 for the week of July 3)
Summer Sparks Camp enrichment (1:15-5:15pm) in same location, $150 per week ($120 for Session 2 the week of July 3); campers who participate in Summer Sparks in the afternoons may also participate in Summer Sparks aftercare (5:15-6:00pm for an additional $15 per week ($12 for Session 2 the week of July 3))
$300 per session ($270 for June 26-July 7 session)
