To exercise fiscal responsibility in both day-to-day operational and strategic matters so that we remain financially sound while continuing our fundraising efforts to meet ongoing capital needs.

To communicate effectively within the community so that our goals, contributions and achievements are recognized.

To have a well-maintained and safe facility supported by appropriately trained staff, up-to-date athletic equipment and contemporary computer technology with the ability to expand based on the needs of our membership and community.


Mission

The Montclair YMCA is a not-for-profit organization that welcomes all people. Our purpose is to promote the social and physical development of children, youth, adults and families in our community. We are dedicated to the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our programs emphasize personal growth, foster a positive sense of self-worth and encourage social responsibility.
