Justine oversees the Geyer Family Branch. Her passion for youth development, especially early childhood programming, was ignited over 17 years ago at her first Y job as a lead teacher of 4-year-olds. This may be the reason why you will often find her having fun in and out of classes at the Geyer Family Branch. She is inspired to develop others to see their fullest potentials no matter their ages. Justine is a proud mother of a daughter and a son. She holds a degree in English from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Cheyenne is a lifelong Montclair resident and participated in our aquatics, camp, and extended care programs as a child. Growing up in the community in which we serve gave Cheyenne an interesting and unique perspective. She loves making family connections and watching our Kinder Members grow right before her eyes, much like she did with some of our veteran staff. Cheyenne enjoys traveling, singing, and getting to know people.
Kristin is a Program Director at the Geyer Family Branch. She can't remember a time when the Y wasn't a part of her life. She learned to swim at the Washington Street Y, was on the swim team and took gymnastics at Park Street and her first job was working as a counselor for Early Adventures. Kristin wants every parent and their child’s experience to be “awesome.” She has a degree in Sociology from William Paterson University and a teaching certificate from Kean University.
Sandra heads the Aquatics programs at our Geyer Family Branch. She grew up in Spain and has always loved swimming and dance. She has also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and in Emergency Medical Services with several organizations. Sandra holds a degree in Biology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an Emergency Medical Technician-B certification.
