Montclair YMCA Programs at the Verona Community Center
All Pre-school classes are held Mondays at the Verona Community Center on Bloomfield Avenue (behind Firehouse) in Verona.
Please register only at the YMCA or via mail. Winter session runs January 22-March 26 (No class February 12 and 19).

Babysitter Training Course for Youth
Interested in being a mother’s helper or finding a job babysitting?
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course provides youth (11-15) with the information necessary to provide safe
and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or guardian. Learn what you need to know and what every parents
wants in a responsible babysitter! The course can help you interview for a babysitting job, perform first aid, learn diapering
and feeding techniques, handle bedtime issues, and learn tips for having a safe babysitting experience. Upon completion you
will receive the Red Cross Babysitters Certification card. A great achievement to feature on your babysitting resume.
Class includes babysitter handbook and first aid kit with bag.
Please bring a lunch.

When schools are closed due to inclement weather it does not
have to mean a missed day of work for parents! The YMCA will
be there for you when the Montclair Public
School System has an emergency closing.
Hours: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
FEE: $40 per day
Due at the time of drop-off
