The following positions are available

Fitness Staff
Responsible for monitoring the Fitness Center. Excellent customer service skills required. Experience in health & fitness a plus. Evenings and weekend morning hours available.

Monday through Friday 6:00 to 10:00 PM
Saturdays and Sundays 6:45 to 10:00 AM

Counselors, Site Directors & Specialty Directors for Extended Care Programs located in Montclair, Bloomfield, Verona & Cedar Grove. Experience working with Children is required. Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 to 6:30 pm. You may pick up an Application Form at Montclair YMCA 25 Park St. Montclair, NJ or download the form here

Lifeguards
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age with current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. Upon applying for this position, rescues and CPR skills will be reviewed.

Early Bird Lifeguards
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age with current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications. Hours are from 4:30am to 9am. Upon applying for this position rescues and CPR skills will be reviewed.

Swim Instructors
Teach swimming lessons to children in different age groups and levels. Must have experience with children and swimming. Weekday and weekend hours available.

Adult Lesson Instructors
Teach swimming lessons to adults in different age groups and levels. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have experience with adults and swimming. Morning and evening hours available.
